Cardiology Health Camp January 2nd 2024

Heart Disease in Young People: Causes, Prevention, Precautions.

Empowering Lives, Nurturing Well-being

Our mission is simple yet powerful: to bridge the gap in healthcare and education accessibility. We believe that everyone, regardless of their background, deserves the right to good health and the tools to lead a fulfilling life. Our camp aims to provide essential medical services, health education, and skill-building opportunities to empower individuals and communities to take charge of their well-being.

What We Offered:

Our camp was a holistic experience that combines cardiology medical care, education, and community engagement. Here's what we provided:

1. Medical Services: Our team of skilled healthcare professionals offered a range of medical services, which included the following services:

  • free insulin test,

  • cholesterol test,

  • BP monitoring,

  • cardiology consultation,

  • dietician consultation ,

  • free ECG,

  • per cardiologist recommendation ECHO and TMT test.

2. Health Workshops: Knowledge is power. Dr. Thrudeep Sagar conducted an interactive learning workshop on various heart related topics, equipping attendees with practical information to make informed decisions about their health and lifestyle. We administered a questionnaire, gathering both pre- and post-checkup responses to assess the impact on knowledge acquisition.

3. Education Hub: We believe in the transformative power of education. Our camp featured educational sessions (like CPR, with a dummy) that covered a wide array of heart ailment related subjects, from basic literacy to emergency skills.

4. Community Engagement: We engaged with the local community to understand their unique needs and challenges. This helped us tailor our services to create a lasting impact that resonates with the community's culture and values.

Below are some of the pictures and videos from the event. We had over 100 registrants for the event and it was a massive success, to the point we had to (unfortunately) start turning folks away. This event is a high value medical camp, which focuses on a vital part of the human body.
