Supporting Education in Burkina Faso
At FutureBright, we believe in empowering communities through education. That’s why we are proud to support the Boassa Village School Project, an initiative led by the Missionary Sisters of the Incarnation (SMI) to build a kindergarten and primary school in Boassa Village, Burkina Faso.
Project Overview
The Boassa Village School Project aims to provide quality education to children in underserved communities. The school will include:
A two-floor building with classrooms
Essential infrastructure including sanitary facilities, a kitchen, and a reception area
A focus on inclusive education, welcoming children regardless of social background
This initiative aligns with SMI’s mission to promote education, combat illiteracy, and foster social and spiritual growth within local communities.
Project Goals
The primary goal is to offer education opportunities to 300 children in Boassa and surrounding areas. Additional objectives include:
Reducing illiteracy and gender discrimination
Providing vocational training in tailoring and computer studies
Improving health and hygiene awareness
Promoting Gospel values of love, care, and respect
Uplifting the community through education-driven social transformation
Project Timeline & Budget
The construction is scheduled to begin in March 2025 and be completed by March 2026, with the school set to open for the 2026-27 academic year.
The total estimated cost is €474,766, covering:
School building construction – €400,248
Hangar construction – €35,218
Sanitary facilities – €24,638
Kitchen construction – €12,097
Gate installation – €2,565
